The Person-Who-Doesn't-Want-to-have-an-18th-Birthday-Party

Have you imagined that feeling when someone's offering you something, it's like you're a kind of stupid to reject it?
To give you a hint, that's what I feel today... I feel like turning down or reject an offer coz I am a sort of a shy person that for me it's gonna be a mortal sin if I actually don't pay for the rice that I am eating. You know, get that?
I have been worrying for the past few days on how will I celebrate my 18th birthday. Well, I'm supposed to be a debutante (if you'll imagine the "cotillion" thingy), I'm supposed to have 18 candles, 18 male friends and relatives to dance with me,18 rich friends to give me gifts and most of all,a stunning gown to look beautiful in that oh-so-romantic and oh-welcome-to-the-legal age day of my life-my birthday. But for me, I'd rather choose to stay simple and stay traditional like what I've been doing for the last 17 years. It is for the reason that (I sensed) that my parents could not and would not be able to give me my dream birthday. I'd rather not climb the highest peak of my dreams without plans for I might fall to the ground. My mum asked me if I wanted a "celebration ought for a debutante", but I declined. I just tell to myself that I'll give a bashful birthday party for me when I'll be able to reach my 100 years. Haha!

It's barely 1 week before my nightmare, I mean my birthday. But I'm still, you know, plan-less... (what I think of right now is to forget that it's my birthday and sleep all day!)

Love has two sides, and I've already experienced both of it. It has been a long time (2 years is a long time) since we've met and I couldn't disapprove on the thing that :) had put all the life :) has for me... :) put red on blue days and orange on yellow days. :) liven and made my world wonderful!

Anyways, I wrote this blog for me to remember that on the 2nd day of June 2011, I still feel the same way I feel about :) on the summer of 2009. I am too afraid of the rumors that the world will end up on 2012. And so, somehow, I would still be able to let others know that even if the end-of-the-world is in near, my heart speaks so much gratitude and joy of loving :)

Not much, I will still keep on counting the days wherein we'll still be able to see each other though (I think I'll die due to my hectic) schedule on my 2nd year. Wherein everything feels nice, fresh and cheerful with :). Not to forget reminiscing on what thing would be lost if we are together.. Hahaha! I remembered when we were together heading towards home at 7:00, but when we took off the cab we realized that :)'s phone was gone. Nah! That scared me to bits that it made me cry and :) kept on comforting me. Thanks God, it was retrieved the other day.After a few weeks, it was my phone that was lost again and unfortunately, it was never returned to me. And oh,I missed my phone so much!

That's all for today, I gotta go to sleep.. I heard dogs howling outside, geez! I'm scared of that...

Our humble home.

Located at the realms of Cogon, Talisay, Daanbantayan, Cebu, it's a place whereserenity, freshness and fine memories dwell.

Our farm at Cogon is one of our precious gems that we considered to be the very essence of our livelihood. It's the inheritance that my father got from his parents 8 years ago. The 15,000 square meters equivalent to1.5 hectares of land was cultivated from the time it was given. It was planted mainly with mangoes, star apples, and coconut trees. There are also cows and chickens and the like. The land brought us many changes,like it has been the source of income for our family and at the same time it serves as our resting place whenever we go there at Daanbantayan, the home of our ancestors.

Across the area, you could see the entire view of the horizon leading to the sea. Mounting on top of carabaos and running around while watching the growth of our plants are also our hobbies there.

Surely, there has never been a gift that's equal to this. Many of us would say that we are very lucky to own an area like this. For me, a material or object easily fades, but a thing like this will surely be kept forever till generations and generations may benefit from it.

I just wondered whether some people at my age or not already do have their dates on the very special day of February. The thought just sparkled to my mind when I realized that "oh, it's already the first week of February!"
I could notice the days just passing by like a roller coaster..Like oh,WOW! I mean, the days just seem so rapidly coming and going.

Some people may desperately be looking for what they will consider a special someone (the opposites) in a hurly-burly way.And a sad fact that it is just to catch up with the trend of having someone to be with on February 14. Uhuh!

What's with the "special someone to date"? Its whom we share our thoughts and feelings, who accept us for what we are. We love just not because of having someone to cuddle on a cold night. We love because we want our loved one to see how we understand them in the same way that we want to be understood. We love because we want to care and accept a special person who has touched our hearts. Love may not be ultimately defined through words, but sometimes "action speaks louder than words".

It's not who we hire to date us on Feb. 14, it's not who we hurly-burly find just to consider our date. It's someone who loves us truly, with no conditions.They may take the form of our beloved family, friends,relatives and most especially God.

THE NIGHT BEFORE THE FINAL DAY

I really have this feeling inside me that I can't explain that much. It's like I'm getting nervous and anxious of what will be happening tomorrow. Furthermore, tomorrow will provide the time for us to set again our goals.

It was like long ago that I decided to quit my dream of being a skilled woman at sea someday, for a situation happened. And someone had put off my desire. But now, the dream has rejuvenated itself, it was brought back to life because of this situation. whoo!! grabe! mixed emotions jud ako nabati da?? hehehe

REMINISCING THOUGHTS

Have you ever heard of that Nestea Ice Tea commercial? Well I bet all of us have watched and somehow memorized that already, for the tagline "samahan ng malalamig ang pasko" is somewhat like a virus that's spreading all throughout the country...

I'm just here to scribble a few words. I wanna say that the line is somewhat a reflection for me of what happened last year's Christmas. Maybe MALALAMIIIIG ang pasko is an exaggerated one, but for me it is the word that somehow could also describe all the added feelings from last December 2009 until this December. I would like to recount all the past happenings here but I think this is not a private place enough for others can still see it.. Anyhow, I'll will try my best to still cover some ideas as to relate what my point really is all about.

It was the entry of the Christmas season (2009) when I realized that my feelings for him flourished and that I somehow developed a special treatment towards him. Yeah, I could say that time that maybe several months of being together are enough to create a strong bond between 2 persons who treat each other as special to them. However, I was so wrong, so wrong that I thought it would end me up like changing my visions in life and my whole being as well. To continue, when I realized my feelings I also knew the thing that he begin to like me already. Not far, he confessed his feelings towards me. It was like a promise of forever. And that I thought nobody could break us apart.(mura ug love song..lol)The first 2 weeks we were happy of the way things turned out. But,during the 3rd week of December I begin to be suspicious to him,I receive no calls from him.He was always offline. To me it was like, "a bubble that disappeared to nowhere".Our bitter relationship ended like a bubble. No formal breakup. Well, what else could I expect? So I made my plans to apply at the scholarship being offered at a certain school just to make my revenge for making my life wrecked (but as the time goes by, I was able to realize that seeing him or doing my revenge against him or whatever would be just a waste of time)

Many months passed and my feelings for him died,there was this other person in whom I began sharing my thoughts. Again, I developed a special feeling towards him. But just when I realized the whole thing was just only a joke,it's kinda gosh! ~~Another major2x event happened again!~~ It made me scream, cry till my eyes swell so bad and ask God why did it happen to me? The moment I knew the real thing, I was not able to immediately accept it wholeheartedly. At night, I thought about it over and over again. "What if I 'll turn it to a positive thing? In that way, I will not have to lose him forever."

◘ SUNDAY A.M.->experiencing a major2x boredom in the house and due to that boredom strike, I cleaned almost everything I saw in the house.

◘ SUNDAY P.M.->receiving praises from here to there for cleaning the house (my mom gave me the freedom to surf the internet for the whole day and for the following days).I've been also very happy for the macaroons I cooked for my little sis' Christmas party received many positive comments from the party-goers during that time.I have been also with my mom at SM buying new things. It left me ill-tempered for she promised that she would take us to watch a 3D movie, but it wasn't pushed through..Oh yes, yes, promises are meant to be broken, aren't they? She also make me fall in line at the V-hire terminal while she was there ~~just sitting pretty~~.. T_T

◘ MONDAY A.M->sacrificing not to be able to do something for myself just to take over the position of my auntie in managing her store. (That was soooooo boring, that it left me partially idle..lol)

◘ MONDAY P.M.->communicating with my loved ones, I was there texting them throughout the day. And that resulted to continuous cellphone recharging..(pampatay sa cellphone..hahaha!)

All Alone in the Kitchen

And so to prepare for my little sis' Christmas party for tomorrow, I was assigned by my mom to bake macaroons. She said that she needs to attend the company's dinner in which I don't know where is it held. And so to speak, I was left all alone in the kitchen. At first I was dashing and turning furiously like a top (children's toy) because I don't know where did my mom left the ingredients. I kept texting and answering her calls until I was finally settled down. I was so busy preparing all the hurly-burly things for the ingredients alone. Well, it looked like I've turned around our table a bazillion times...lol

My first batch of macaroons looked like this...

For the second set or batch, there it goes...

I have to wait till these things turn to brownish or a little bit golden in color before I'll remove these from the oven... After several minutes, surely I will have 200 macaroons counted and ready for tomorrow!

That's all..bow! ^_^

This is the picture we took at Rhea idol's debut last December 11, 2010.I love this picture so much because it shows that we are still in touched with each other. It's just too bad that we missed Gerda here.. And I just hope and pray that this group will never change...:)

</3 this quote got me bulls eyed much. I know, coz there are times that flashes of memories come and that reminds me of how foolish I am for valuing a person so much. Yet the person doesn't even treated me the same. It just come upon me of what happened yesterday, I just realized that I am really nothing for that person. I realized that the person whom I shared my time,plans for the future,and most especially love is just there waiting for my first move and that's all. What I like to happen is that the person would have some space to think it up all over. I would like to make the person conclude and come to me with a fixed decision. However, I think it's really impossible for that person to come to me with a fixed decision because he never made himself responsible for his actions towards me. And for now, I will just be here waiting for him to say and tell me my worth. T_T
